How We Do Pool Cage Painting?

To ensure that your Pool Cage Painting, Restoration, and Pool Enclosure Rescreening project is done right, we follow these steps:

Prepping the pool cage is the most important phase when painting a pool cage. We start by thoroughly pressure washing the cage using a turbo tip to remove all loose paint, oxidation, and mold.

Next, we replace any damaged or rusted hardware, such as bolts in the cage. We use a wire wheel and palm sander to smooth all areas where loose paint has been removed. This ensures that the freshly painted cage has no signs of loose paint.

Pool cage cleaning follows: the entire cage is wiped down with wet rags to ensure it is clean.

We then cover the entire working area to prevent over-spray and keep non-painted areas free from the specialty paint we use on the cage surface.

We apply a coat of “DTM Bonding Primer”, which guarantees more than 15 years of life to the paint of the pool enclosure.

After the primer is applied and dried, we use specialized paint formulated to properly adhere to aluminum cages and lanais. Choose from our large selection of bronze and earth-tone colors to match your newly painted pool cage with the natural surroundings. We also offer custom colors.

Our high-quality paint has a quick-drying effect, allowing us to apply two fresh coats promptly, making the cage ready for the screening process.
